Ribbon Roll Decorating

Here is a small collection of five different ideas for decorating with ribbon rolls.

While a ribbon roll can be ordered with custom printing, such as names, dates or sayings, plain ribbon rolls will also work for decorating with most of these crafts. Each idea is simple, yet elegant and will add class and style to any surrounding.

Ribbon rolls are a quick accessory in decorating by adding to any candle or vase. Simply tie your favorite color ribbon or style of ribbon around the base, middle or tip of a vase or candle holder to add your own special flair!

Here’s an idea. Do you have multiple pair of sunglasses that keep getting tossed into a corner of the room or onto a table just to get scuffed up? Try making this easy sunglasses hanging board. Super easy and wonderfully colorful. This is sure to liven up any living space!

Tired of your old shabby lamp shades? Give them an updated look by decorating with a quick couple of ribbon rolls. Choose complimenting colors and weave them into or around the used, faded lamp shade. The weave can be of your own creating or follow this simple pattern.

What a cute and charming way to hang your pictures. Update your walls with fresh picture frames and ribbon rolls to hang them. Or, create your own pictures or updated photos of your loved ones. This one is just as easy as it sounds. Simply attach the desired ribbon to the back of your frame and use the ribbon to hang the frame on the wall.

This is a another great idea to update picture frames around the house. This is especially fun if the ribbon roll is customized with names or dates. Did you have your wedding announcement framed? If so, tie a ribbon around it with your and your spouse’s names on it, or the date you got married. What about baby pictures? Use the child’s birthday on your custom ribbon roll.

Whatever you decide to do with them, ribbon rolls are a great and creative way to freshen up your décor around the house. Use it on frames, lamps and any other accessory you can find. But, most importantly, make it your own and have fun!

Donation Spotlight: Classical Conversations

Another year and what a great way to start it out! Coller Industries is happy to say that we enjoy giving back to our community. And what better way to do that than with a donation of goods. This time around we are highlighting Classical Conversations.

“At Classical Conversations, we believe that every child is uniquely and wonderfully made. Classical Conversations exists to assist homeschooling parents in educating their children,” said Lynne Roberts, Challenge B Director, with Classical Conversations. “We believe there are three keys to a great education: the classical model of learning, taught within the framework of a Christ-centered worldview, in a supportive community.”

Homeschooling is a journey. Classical Conversations is with you every step of the way from little scribblers to the middle school years all the way through to graduation.

Roberts said, “We believe in cultivating great conversations. Nelson Mandela said, ‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.’ Through our challenge programs, we give the students an opportunity to become lifelong learners and lovers of God’s creation.”

Classical Conversations empowers parents to establish local communities in which parents and students meet once a week during the school year. Each community also consists of programs led by a trained parent-director.

Seven award ribbons were donated from Personalized Ribbons. Each ribbon will be awarded to eighth grade students who have participated in a science fair. Each student will present a hypothesis, procedure, results/conclusions and a research paper. In addition, they will present their findings by giving an oral presentation along with a science fair board. Each presentation will be given to the entire Classical Conversation St. Petersburg community, about 130 people.

As we have strive to keep busy in our communities, donations have truly set Coller Industries apart. And the best part is that we get to help and participate in extraordinary events such as this science fair!

Company Branding with Personalized Ribbons

What is company branding?

A company’s brand is what they are, what they want to be, and what they aim to become as a whole. It can be a promise of quality, trust or service. A brand is what makes a company or organization truly unique. Branding should make any company stand out from its competitors and lets the consumer know what to expect from that company.

Branding is one of the most important parts of any business, whether it be large or small. Building a strong brand helps a company or organization be financially strong. Product marketing is really where this process all begins.

In order to be successful in marketing a company’s brand, one must have a strong branding or marketing strategy. To determine the brand of a business, one must identify a target market and the product or service distribution means. By doing so, the organization can communicate the brand to this target market. And with the use of personalized ribbons, a company’s brand will truly stand out. Personalized ribbons are truly a great tool in company branding.

A few things to consider when working with an organization’s brand:

Brand Identity: This is the customer’s knowledge of and ability to recognize the brand.

Brand Meaning: This is the character of the brand beyond the image, and includes product or business features, reliability, value and experience.

Consumer Relationship: This is the attitude of the customer toward the brand.

Remember that a brand is the means to communicate with a chosen market. Each brand needs to be visually stimulating, thereby encouraging product loyalty. Carefully designed branding leads to a secure business or organization. An organization’s brand should posses the above characteristics.

Most of our personalized ribbons can be printed with a company logo and each ribbon has its own value. Ribbon rolls are great for corporate gifting and event decoration. Badge ribbons can be used not only on badge holders and name tags, but for awards, bookmarks and other recognition pieces. Rosette ribbons are commonly used for awards and can be used to highlight accomplishments in an office or business setting.

An organization’s brand serves as a promise to the consumer. Whether this promise is of services or product, remember that the brand will be used in a marketing strategy and requires copious research. Consumers must understand a brand to increase the effectiveness and value for the company.

Donation Spotlight: M.A.D. Riders Youth Trail Riding Association

Once again, we’d like to say thank you to all of our customers by highlighting our most recent donation activities. We were contacted by Michele Strotman of M.A.D. Riders Youth Trail Riding Association. Strotman is a Trail Guide at M.A.D. Riders YTRA. Here are some amazing details about the organization and how we were able to help!

M.A.D. Riders Youth Trail Riding Association is the first and only equine organization devoted entirely to youth trail riders. “Our organization keeps youth focused by offering two seasons per calendar year and also awarding them with mid season awards,” said Strotman.

The mission of M.A.D. Riders YTRA is to promote character development with direct familial involvement through trail riding, community service and non equine related activities. Strotman describes M.A.D. Riders YTRA as a fresh, inspiring and restorative association.

A National Association, M.A.D. Riders promotes character development through a variety of activities both on and off the trail with group and individual participation. Our program is designed to enable each M.A.D. Rider with honesty, loyalty, responsibility, respect and compassion by providing them with a set of rules and code of conduct to follow.

Each member will have the support of a Trail Guide Group in their community, with a Trail Guide to help mentor them, plan activities, host group trail rides, plan group community service projects, and so much more. M.A.D. Riders are required to participate in both Trail Guide Group activities and rides as well as perform a certain amount of community service.

Coller Industries Incorporated provided a generous donation of rosette award ribbons to M.A.D. Riders YTRA. The requested ribbons were the Single Streamer, Star Rosette Ribbons.

First, second and third place ribbons will be used at the event.

Strotman stated, “This donation allows us to recognize the hard work of (each of) our youth riders. Thank you so much for the generous ribbon donations. They are impressively beautiful. The kids are going to flip with excitement!”
